July through December

CRA issues 12 Canada Child Benefit payments in 2026: Jan 20, Feb 20, Mar 20, Apr 20, May 20, Jun 19, Jul 20, Aug 20, Sep 18, Oct 20, Nov 20, Dec 11. Check the calendar against today's date to identify the next scheduled deposit.
Why did my CCB payment change in July?
CRA begins a new benefit year each July. January through June 2026 payments use 2024 adjusted family net income, while July through December 2026 use 2025 income and the indexed 2026-27 benefit amounts.
What should I do if my CCB payment is late?
CRA asks recipients to wait five business days after the scheduled date before contacting the agency. Check CRA My Account first for the payment status and current direct-deposit information.
Does shared custody change the payment date?
No. Both eligible parents use the same monthly payment schedule. Each parent receives 50% of the full-custody-equivalent amount calculated from their own adjusted family net income.
