Yes. Every calculator on this site is free, no sign-up, no email required. We are funded by privacy-respecting display ads — see our about page.

Which Canadian tax years do these calculators support?

All calculators support the 2024, 2025, and 2026 federal tax years, with provincial brackets and surtaxes for all 13 provinces and territories. Quebec uses the Revenu Québec separate-return system.

Where do the tax rates come from?

All federal rates and thresholds come from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Provincial figures come from each province's Department of Finance and the CRA-published combined tables. CPP/CPP2 and EI come from CRA payroll rate pages. Quebec figures come from Revenu Québec.

Are these calculators official CRA tools?

No. CA Tax Tools is independent of the CRA. Our calculators are reference tools — they implement the same formulas as CRA but are not for filing your T1. For official filing, use CRA-certified NETFILE software or paper filing.
